Things are about to get busy..

Last night I received the e-mail I had been waiting for that allows me to start posting pieces for Ask Miss A, which is both exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. All I have to do is submit one 300-500 word review per week. Pretty simple. My only fear is that I’m going to run out of ideas. Not right away, though. I already have a list written down. It’s mostly for book reviews, but I definitely want to get some other stuff in there. Meaning I gotta keep my eye on the upcoming movies and CDs in order to space out my reading more. I love reading, but sometimes my brain gets tired.

I’ve also had a little promotion at Folded Word, which is very exciting. I’m going to be learning copyediting and looking through longer manuscripts. I’m extra excited about this because it’ll help me in the long run with my editing/publishing career.

And I am still waiting to hear from my internship. They said they would call this week, so I haven’t been waiting for too long, but I still want to hear. It’s an editorial internship at Slack Inc., a medical magazine/newspaper. Which I am super excited for, and I really hope I get. If not, I’ll have more time to focus on the other two.

Even though it all seems like it’s going to be a lot, I’m really excited about it. I was never a person who liked sitting around and relaxing. Well, I do like that on occasion, but I’ve been doing it for a month and I’m bored. I need to do 12 things at once again. But I must keep in mind while I’m doing 12 things at once to make it 13 and continue my fiction. That’s the most important step of all. Just keep writing.

It looks like I’m going back to “to do” lists.
