Skyfall: A Movie Review

I have to admit right away that I am not the biggest James Bond fan. I’ve only really watched the Daniel Craig movies (although I think I saw one of the other ones years ago, but I was little so don’t really remember it) and, in fact, James Bond tends to annoy me. The most aggravating thing about him is he can just walk in a room and every girl wants to bone him. Yea… right.

Anyway, although I am not a big James Bond fan, I have to say Skyfall was definitely my favorite out of all the Daniel Craig James Bond films.

When a thief steals the hard drive from a government computer with the names of all secret agents in the world, it is up to James Bond (Daniel Craig) to get it back. But when the villain in charge starts attacking M (Judi Dench) and the MI6 headquarters, Bond learns that everything is hitting closer to home than he originally thinks.

I think my favorite part about this movie was Javier Bardem as Silva. He was amazing in his role and really made the fight more interesting with his schemes. In fact, all the acting was very well done, and I was really happy about the lack of sex scenes and advances. Skyfall was a pretty long too, but it held my attention the entire time. Definitely a movie for James Bond fans, as well as anyone looking for a good action movie to watch.

Grade: A

  1. I liked Casino Royale more though but this almost lived up to the hype. A decent flick and one of the better Bond movies, but not my favorite of all-time I have to say. Good review.
